Nights Away Notification (NAN)
Before doing any overnight activity, you’ll need to have submitted a NAN form at least 7 days in advance. This needs to be sent to nightsaway@chelmsfordscouts.org.uk and must be approved before your activity begins.
You’ll also need to send your risk assessment to dc@chelmsfordscouts.org.uk before your event can begin.
This process will move online during 2024.
District expenses claims
If you’ve spent money on something like a District activity that you need to claim back, this is the form you need. Make sure you return it, along with any receipts as soon after the event as possible.
Email lists
We’ve got a number of different email lists for our volunteers – some for various section teams, others for specific roles or district teams. If you’re not receiving emails you think you should be, or are receiving some you shouldn’t, please let us know.
Our Leaders Facebook Group
If you’re a Facebook user, you can join our Leaders Group. It’s a great place to discuss programme ideas or ask other volunteers for help. Any important information is sent out via our mailing lists so if you’re not using Facebook, you won’t miss information.
